The Sociedad Industrial Maritima Financiera Ariona Panama S.A. was established in 1946. It was involved as owner of Onassis companies during the conflict between Onassis and the government of the United States. This conflict concerned the purchase by Onassis (and other Greek shipowners) of American warships from the United States Maritime Commission, tankers in particular, at a time when their purchase by foreigners was forbidden. The purchases were made by shipping companies which appeared to belong to American citizens, but Onassis held all the shares. After the conflict with the United States government – a lengthy and much-discussed dispute, and which ended with a compromise in 1956 –three of Onassis’s American shipping companies were merged into Victory Carriers Inc., to which control of all the ships was transferred. The American company Victory Carriers subsequently took control of 75% of the Liberian Alexander S. Onassis Corporation a company nominally owned by Aristotle Onassis, with 25% owned by Sociedad Industrial Maritima Financiera Ariona Panama SA.
The Transatlantica Financiera Industrial S.A. was established in 1949. It was a type-D company (aunt). The company purchased 12 corvettes (Olympic Chaser, Olympic Fighter, Olympic Arrow, Olympic Conqueror, Olympic Champion, Olympic Victor, Olympic Lightning, Olympic Runner, Olympic Explorer, Olympic Cruiser, Olympic Leader, Olympic Promoter) so to convert them to whaling vessels. In 1950 the company sold the corvettes to the Panamanian company Balleneros Limited S.A. (a type-C company) and the tanker "Olympic Challenger" to the Panamanian company Olympic Whaling Company S.A. (a type-C company). In 1954 Transatlantica Financiera Industrial S.A. was accused, among other companies of Onassis, by the United States in the prosecution of the United States against Onassis.
Bristol Navigation S.A. was established in 1956. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in tourism. It was one of the companies that between 1951-1959 purchased shares of the Société des Bains de Mer and eventually took control of the company that owned Monaco’s most important businesses: the Casino, the Opera House and the famous Hôtel de Paris. After 1975 Cramer Panama S.A. was the sole shareholder of the company. The company was dissolved in 1983.
Cartagena Shipping Company Panama S.A. was established in 1958. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in shipping and owner of the vessel "Olympic Valley".
Condor Financiera Panama S.A. was established in 1959. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in shipping and owner of the vessels "Lake George" ("Anthem" after 1963), "McKittrick Hills", "Montebello Hills" and "Stony Point".
Osborne Panama S.A. was established in 1965. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in shipping.
Lakeport Navigation Company Panama S.A. was established in 1968. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in shipping and owner of the vessel "Olympic Brilliance". After 1975 and until 1981 the company belonged to A.S.O. Naviera Panama S.A. (50% shares) & to Atol Compania Naviera S.A (50% shares).
Bangor Marine Panama S.A. was established in 1980. It was a type-F company. The company was dissolved in 2007.
Belgravia Investments Panama S.A. was established in 1976. It was a type-D company acting mainly as intermediate agency in the fields of cash management and investments. It belonged to Henley Finance Corporation. In 1977 it owned shares of of Societe Des Forges & Chantiers de la Mediterranee. This new company was formed after the division of the Onassis assets and the restructuring of the companies to serve the needs of the Christina Onassis group, which was managed separately by OMSA and separately from the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation's companies. The company was dissolved in 2000.
Corvallis Navigation Panama S.A. was established in 1974. It was a type-D company acting as intermediary representative. After 1975 the company passed to the Christina Onassis Group of companies owned by ATOL and managed by OMSA. After 1999 the ownership of Christina Onassis Group of Companies passed to her daughter Athina Onassis. The management of the companies was still held, separately from the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation Companies, until 1999.
Olympic Maritime S.A. (OMSA for short), which was founded in Paris 1952 and the headquarters of which moved to Monte Carlo in 1954, was Onassis’s main shipping agency. Olympic Maritime remained in Paris as the branch office of OMSA in Monte Carlo, while another OMSA branch office was founded in London. Olympic Maritime SA and its branch offices were the main agencies of the group. Each daughter/mother/grandmother company gave OMSA the jurisdiction to manage each ship (and any other assets) with a decision of the Board of Directors. In 1990 OMSA passed to the Athena Onassis Group of Companies with A company Atol Compania Naviera S.A. and B company Redonda Navigation Panama S.A.
Since 1990 the main management company of the Business Group of the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation is Olympic Shipping and Management S.A.; The company was dissolved in 2012.

State Mercantile Company S.A. was established in 1983. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in shipping as a vessel owning company. It belonged to United Investment Panama S.A. and after some years to Corvallis Navigation Panama S.A. and Edina Transportation Company (1983). The company owned the vessel "Olympic Dignity". This new company was formed after the division of the Onassis assets and the restructuring of the companies to serve the needs of the Christina Onassis group, which was managed separately by OMSA and separately from the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation's companies. The company was dissolved in 1983.
Beverley Marine Panama S.A. was established in 1961. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in shipping and owner of the vessel "Olympic Freedom". According to the archival documents the company seems to be active until 1993.
Westwind Shipping Panama S.A. was established in 1985. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in shipping as the owner of the vessel "Calliroe Patronicola".
Nedway Panama S.A. was established in 1954. It was a type-C company mainly engaged in real estate. After 1975 it converted to a type-A company, acting as holding company. Holding company with 1,000 bearer shares of Athina Roussel's patrimony (capital reserve received by Christina Onassis in 1975. ) In 1990 the company belongs to Corvallis Group.

This is the first Panamanian company established on April 14, 1939 at the Consulate General of the Republic of Panama in London. This first initiative was supported by the shipowners of the Greek office in London, who had introduced him to Greek shipping in the 1930s: Costas Gratsos and Pericles Drakoulis, scions of families with a long maritime tradition from the island of Ithaca. Constantinos Georgiou Gratsos, Dimitris Georgiou Gratsos, Panos Georgiou Gratsos, Constantinos Pericles Drakoulis and Aristotle Onassis himself appear as members and shareholders of Onassis’s first Panamanian company. He transferred to this company his first two cargo steamships "Onassis Pinelopi" and "Onassis Socratis", under the Panamanian flag.
